We will need to see the following documents depending on your nationality:
- Spanish and Portuguese nationals; EU passport and DNI
- Non Spanish or Portuguese national but a resident in either Spain or Portugal; EU Passport and NIE
- Non Spanish or Portuguese national and live outside Spain and Portugal; EU Passport and birth certificate
Please note that we may need additional evidence of your identity if required by the UK immigration authorities.
If applicable all candidates must provide certificates relating to professional qualifications and any certificates stating the level of English.
We will need to see the original documents for all of the above before work can be offered. This can be arranged with our associates in the UK at interview stage if necessary.
Police Checks
All social care workers in the UK are required to have a Police Check (Enhanced Disclosure) at a cost of £33.00 (50€). You will be required to complete a disclosure of offences form which you will need to send back signed along with your application form. The document you receive is your property and is valid for 2 years. Some minor offences if declared from the start will not necessarily prevent you from working in the UK. However please note that if it is discovered at a later stage that you have offences that you did not declare at the start of your application, however minor, you could be instantly dismissed.
References
You must be prepared to provide references from management personnel for all recent employment. One reference must be from your current employer or if you are a student from the college or university where you are studying.
